The "natural risks" division of Opus benefits from 25 years of experience in the field of awareness, education and expertise on major natural risks.
Inform and raise awareness
The association participates in the emergence of a "culture of risk" at regional, national and Euro-Mediterranean level through activities aimed at young people, awareness-raising actions for the general public, training for elected officiels and professionals private and public and Euro-Mediterranean campuses for students and young professionals.
These actions are based on educational tools and communication works developed and designed by the cluster team (exhibitions, role-playing games, simulation exercises, films, cd-roms, topoguides, etc).
Assist public authorities
Opus also puts its skills (organization of communication campaigns, organization of training, diagnosis of vulnerabilities, etc) at the service of local authorities and State services in their prevention and expertise missions.
It also works actively for international cooperation within the framework of European projects and decentralized cooperation in the field of risk prevention.
